SPRING UPDATE

It’s been more than a couple of weeks since I last sat down to write, and life has been moving along at its usual steady pace. All is well here. The weather is still on the cool side, but we’re starting to shift into “getting ready” mode — preparing for company, doing some painting, and tackling the never-ending job of organizing the house.

One of the more interesting challenges lately has been retraining the dogs to use a new bathroom area in the yard. Let’s just say… it’s been a test of patience! But we are making progress, little by little, and that’s what counts.

The biggest news, though, is on the health front for Terry — and it’s very good news.

Back in August 2025, Terry went for an eye exam related to his condition, Best disease. It’s a hereditary condition from his father’s side of the family, and both his father and sister were quite severely affected. Terry has been managing it for about 15 years, but at that appointment, we were told it had worsened significantly. In fact, if it progressed any further, there was a real possibility he could lose his truck license — which, as you can imagine, would have a major impact on his livelihood.

Fast forward to April 15th, and we received completely unexpected — and wonderful — news. After seeing a specialist, they reported that his condition has improved immensely. In fact, they said they likely wouldn’t have detected it at all without using more advanced imaging equipment. Even more encouraging, his right eye — which has always been the weaker one — has shown considerable improvement.

The only real change Terry has made during this time is adding Zinzino Balance Oil to his daily routine.

Needless to say, we are beyond grateful and encouraged by this turn of events. It’s a reminder that sometimes, even when things feel uncertain, positive changes can happen when you least expect them.

So for now, we’ll keep painting, organizing, working with the dogs — and appreciating the good news when it comes.
